April18，the opening ceremony of 2010 Beijing International Food Festival was held in Wangfujing Commercial Street. This festival will last to May 10 with various kind of food serving to the public.
With a goal to build an image of International trade center and the capital of dishes among worldwide, the theme of this festival is “tasting the health food and enjoying the happy life”.
Participants include all the districts and counties in Beijing, so the event may be a feast for gourmets as well as citizens. During the food festival, consumers will be able to enjoy specialty food and drinks from Beijing’s top 100 shops and international establishments at discounted prices.
Besides the entertain with these elaborate dishes, some 500 food and beverage enterprises at home and abroad will provide about 20,000 discount coupons to customers. These coupons can be used in some famous Chinese restaurants including Quanjude, Meizhou Dongpo and Donglaishun.
